Why Add a Backing?
Adding a backing enhances the visibility of the sign’s letters and images, especially when mounted on a fence, post, or any surface without a solid background.

Example:
See the “669 Spooners Ave” photos for a comparison of a sign with and without a backing.

When mounting your sign on a wall, a backing can help by creating contrast between the letters and the wall colour.
However, if the wall colour already contrasts well with the sign, a backing may not be necessary.

For solid walls or sheds, signs usually stand out without a backing, but adding one can customise the look to better suit your style.

Available Backing Options:

Black/White Sign Sheeting: Weatherproof and suitable for outdoor use.
304 Stainless Steel (1.2mm Thick): Reflective and ideal for creating a striking look, especially at night. Suitable for outdoor use.
